Camp McCall is excited to offer our third “PEAK, PADDLE, PEDAL Adventure Weekend” in September 2022. We believe that every person needs adventure in their lives, and this is a great opportunity to join with other men to seek out some of the best adventure our local area has to offer!
Your registration includes 4 meals (Friday dinner through Saturday dinner), lodging and a free t-shirt. Friday night will be filled with worship and fellowship.
Sign up for one of these four exciting options:
PEAK: Hikers will tackle challenging trails of the Shining Rock Wilderness area in North Carolina with incredible views in all directions.
PADDLE: Leaving from the boat launch at Devil’s Fork State Park, boaters will use flat water kayaks to explore beautiful Lake Jocassee. The group will paddle ~3.5 miles (one way) to have lunch in the northwest corner of the lake, where we will explore the many pools and cascades of Lower Whitewater Falls, before returning to Camp McCall late afternoon. *Note: Admission to Devil’s Fork State Park not included in your registration. McCall will provide kayaks, but group size is limited to 14 paddlers.
PEDAL: There are two bike opportunities (bikes are required):
//// Option A: ROAD - From the Camp McCall parking lot, cyclists will embark on some of the most challenging tarmac in SC. Enjoy long climbs, steep descents, and sweeping curves. Contact the office for the cue sheet and GPS directions.
//// Option B: MOUNTAIN - This option takes the adventurous biker into the woods. Enjoy bombing some of the best trails that Western NC has to offer.
