
What does being a Cooperating Church mean?
We believe each church has a unique relationship with God. But we also recognize that we have a shared mission to go and make disciples of all nations.
When churches cooperate with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, they are investing in that shared mission.
What is the Cooperative Program?
The Cooperative Program is how we fund ministry in our state and around the world. As affiliate churches give to the Cooperative Program, they are working toward a common goal of sharing the Gospel with everyone, everywhere.
Step 1:
Cooperating Church Request Â
Fill out and submit the New Cooperating Church Request form at the bottom of this page.
Please note that you will need an EIN to begin this process.  If you do not already have an EIN, please visit the IRS to find out more about the EIN and to obtain one. If you already have an EIN, please proceed to the New Cooperating Church Request form at the bottom of this page.
 Step 2:
Association Endorsement
This is a recommendation from the association that you are cooperating with from SCBC. Â
Step 3:
First Contribution to the Cooperative Program
Your first contribution to the Cooperative Program from your cooperating church made payable to SCBC. Mail Attn: Leisa Butler, SCBC, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. (Please do not mail your check until you receive a notification confirming we have received your Association Endorsement.)
