A simple way to find out about a new culture is to ask questions about their families, friends, food, festivals and their future hopes and dreams. To effectively reach people of different ethnic backgrounds we need to build bridges. One way to do that is to become familiar with their country of origin and the

 Jesus tells his people to pray that God would send out workers into the harvest fields in Luke 10:2. Since we are all responsible to share Christ’s love with those around us, we are encouraged to pray for divine encounters so we and our fellow church members can share Christ’s love with our ethnic neighbors.

In John 4:35 Jesus tells us to “Lift up our eyes and look and see that the field are white for harvest.”    Once you and your church identify points of interest and points of contact, you can begin to discover underserved groups. This opens a special opportunity to begin researching relevant ways to serve them
