Church Life & Leadership Ministry Assistant (2/11/2021)
We are looking for someone who can assist the director and associate director with logistical duties associated with NextStep, leadership development and Pastoral services; resource the ongoing ministry needs of South Carolina Baptist Convention churches; provide ministry support to part-time consultants; and prepare promotional material for conferences and training sessions. The ministry assistant will also help the director and associate director with all administrative tasks for the group and provide web content assistance.

Qualifications include: preferably a college graduate or the equivalent with administrative skills and prior work experience; customer service oriented and skillful in relating to others with respect to sensitive business and personnel matters. Collegiate Minister – Benedict College and Allen University (11/17/2020)
We are looking for a part-time Baptist Collegiate Minister to work with Benedict College and Allen University in the Columbia area. Duties include: identify and equip believing college students to serve as leaders who are missionaries to their campuses; work with student leaders to plan and execute successful worship gatherings, small group Bible studies, discipleship groups and missions opportunities; lead students to plan effective campus outreach activities to engage lost students; equip and lead students to share their faith; promote and lead students to participate in statewide BCM efforts such as Converge and BCMGO missions opportunities; attend Collegiate Ministry meetings to gain further equipping and information needed to execute the role; assist association and local churches in outreach efforts toward reaching students on the Benedict College and Allen University campuses; and develop and lead a local collegiate ministry advisory/support team for ministry planning and financial accountability. Collegiate Minister – Charleston Area (11/17/2020)
This position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating visionary strategy for saturating and transforming every life on the college campus with the hope of the Gospel through Baptist Collegiate Ministry at the College of Charleston and The Citadel. This position also intentionally partners with local churches and Baptist associations to cultivate and lead church staff and leaders to discover ways of reaching students on campus and involving students in active participation in the local church. This position requires a passion for collegiate ministries; a college degree and either currently has or plans to purse additional training from a Southern Baptist Seminary. This position also requires the ability to develop and carry out intentional programs of ministry in unstructured student situations with a minimum of supervision.
