Part-time Historian & Archivist (8/18/2021)
We are looking for someone to work approximately 15 – 20 hours per week in the position of historian and archivist for the South Carolina Baptist Convention. This position seeks to retain, preserve and protect items of historical interest. This position will conduct research in archives and other sources for historical information; assist in planning celebrations of historical events; serve as a resource liaison to the SCBC History Committee as well as other state conventions and write articles for the website, brochures and publications as requested. We are looking for someone who has a BA/BS with a background in research, preferably a master’s degree in Library and Information Services and experience in archival preservation. If you are interested in applying for this position, please contact HR_user@scbaptist.org.

Accounting Assistant (8/17/2021)
Seeking a qualified candidate to work from home approximately 20 – 29 hours per week. 
Duties include, but are not limited to, processing accounts payable and maintaining vendor records.
Experience and/or degree in accounting is preferred. Candidates must be detail oriented, self-starters with good communication skills. Candidates must be able to work independently in a paperless environment and must have strong computer skills.

Next Generation Catalyst (7/15/2021)
The Next-Generation Evangelism Catalyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating productive strategy to impact church and community of sharing hope until every life is saturated and transformed by the hope of the Gospel. Their primary role will be to share strategy to churches as a resource that impacts the next generation outside the church by relational, mass, and ministry evangelism. Special focus will also be given to building relationships with Student Ministers within the South Carolina Baptist Convention that will result in a network of soulwinning consciousness leading to baptisms and new disciples.

Qualifications include college graduate and seminary degree preferred and requires strong experience in ministry leadership and a passion for the lost. Ministry Assistant – Preschool & Childhood Ministry (4/29/2021) 
We are looking for a creative, highly motivated individual who can assist the associate director with all preschool and childhood responsibilities. These include general administrative duties;  assist in the coordination of all VBS,  Weekday Education, Camp, and Consulting teams; maintain general knowledge of Childhood ministry resources; as well as serve as Preschool & Children’s Ministry content author for the SCBC website.

Qualifications include: preferably a college graduate or the equivalent with strong administrative, computer skills and prior work experience; relationally driven, skillful in working well with others while maintaining respect to sensitive business and personnel matters. Experience with design, social media, and advanced technology skills are preferred.
