Church Strategies Ministry Assistant

Working in a team environment, the Church Strategies Ministry Assistant relates primarily to pastors and ministry leaders throughout South Carolina. In addition to basic administrative duties, this position serves as an initial point of contact requiring multi-tasking, strong written and verbal communication skills, event/meeting planning, hosting, and scheduling. A limited number of events at various South Carolina destinations will require multi-day/night work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Strong skills and experience in editing, formatting, and publishing printed and electronic material is preferred.

Print Shop/Mail Room Assistant

We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Print Shop/Mail Room Assistant. Duties include assisting print shop manager in the following: providing maintenance, care, operation and cleaning of printing equipment; printing for day to day operations; fulfilling banner requests of local churches; mail services; operating large format promotional printer; multi-color digital press; vinyl cutter as well as other printing equipment. Experience preferred or aptitude to learn the operation of other document handling equipment and machinery.

Church & Community Ministries Director

We are currently accepting resumes for a Church & Community Ministries Director. The focus of this work will be in establishing and supporting church to school partnerships, related to the Heart 4 Schools initiative. In addition to this primary focus, they will help promote the ministry priorities of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and help to accomplish the mission of the SERVE Team.

Next Generation Mobilization Strategist (12/16/2019)

We are currently accepting resumes for a Next Generation Mobilization Strategist. The focus of this work will be planning, developing and administering mission pathways for sending South Carolina middle school, high school, university students and young adults across the globe. In addition to this primary focus, this position will help resource student and collegiate ministry leaders to develop and coordinate mission strategies, missional engagement projects, and short-term mission opportunities. This position will also help develop and coordinate a state-wide strategy to reach international students and engage churches to serve and share needs of international students in their communities.

A college degree, additional training at a Southern Baptist seminary, and extensive experience in planning and leading student and collegiate teams in mission service is preferred.
