The Mangrum Family

Feature Date:

JD and Natalie- along with their sons Noah and Owen- are part of Christ Church Charlestown. JD and his family were sent by Origins Church in Greenville in partnership with the North American Mission Board and many SC Baptist churches to plant Christ Church in 2016. In 2022, their church plant merged with First Church in Charlestown, which is one of America’s oldest churches. The Mangrums live in a one-square mile community of about 19,000 people, most of whom do not know the Lord. The Mangrums and their team at Christ Church Charlestown serve a multiethnic, multiracial, multigenerational, socioeconomically diverse community with one goal- to bring Charlestown together around the gospel.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for the Mangrums to have continued favor and serving presence in their neighborhood.
  • Pray for salvation for the Mangrum’s neighbors.
  • Pray for a church planting resident to join their team in 2024. The goal of this resident would be to eventually be sent out to plant a church in an adjacent neighborhood.
  • Pray for their sons, Noah and Owen, to have Christian friends.
