The Cross Family

Feature Date:

Tim and Jody, former IMB and current NAMB missionaries, serve refugees coming legally through the US State Department to the upstate of South Carolina. These persecuted, tortured people come from all over the world and many have never heard the Good News of Christ. They train local churches and believers on how to be the Hands and Feet of Christ. They collect donated furniture and household goods, teach life skills and help churches become community for these new neighbors. Believers show and share the love of Jesus as they build relationships with refugee families. Tim and Jody have three adult children and one son-in-law: Zach, Emma (Francisco), Zoë.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for more volunteers and believers to help Tim and Jody love and assist refugees who need to assimilate to life in the United States. Help is needed with transportation, teaching life skills and English language.
  • Please pray for continued financial support. They are faith-based missionaries serving with the North American Mission Board and depend on donations from churches, people and organizations to continue to minister to refugees.
  • Please lift up our adult children. Zach lives in North Carolina working in HR, Emma and Francisco are ministering with refugees through NAMB in Clarkston, Georgia and Zoë is a student at Clemson University, graduating soon.
