Summer is the ideal season for vacations. School is out and the weather is nice; It’s a terrific opportunity to get away and enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation. For followers of Jesus, summertime is an opportune time for another valuable pursuit – serving on summer mission projects. Whether it’s on a week-long project leading Vacation Bible School and sports camps in another part of the U.S. or on an eight-week collegiate mission opportunity working alongside church planters and missionaries around the world, believers of all ages catalyze their summer months to intentionally serve and share Jesus.

Praise the Lord that many of the travel restrictions and challenges related to Covid-19 have been lifted. Over the next few months, SCBC churches will be sending mission teams once again to places as close as Myrtle Beach and as far away as Thailand. Hundreds of college students will also serve as summer missionaries through SCBC’s BCMGo Missions, NAMB’s GenSend Missions, and IMB’s Student Missions.

If you or your church will be on mission this summer, we’d love to pray for vou. Share your information with us at: https://www.scbaptist.org/missions/project-survey/.

We pray that God will be glorified and that lives will be transformed as South Carolina Baptists share the gospel this summer.
