SCBaptist will delete all its Convention-related X (formerly Twitter) accounts as of June 7, 2024.

X, formerly known as Twitter, recently updated its policies to allow explicit, adult content on the platform. In addition to the clear teachings of Scripture and our confessed opposition to pornography in the BFM2000 Article XV, in a 2023 pornography-related SCBaptist Convention resolution messengers agreed that pornography is a “Public Health Crisis,” an “epidemic” with “a detrimental effect on the family unit.” We believe in the inherent value of every life. So, we pray for and work toward an end to sexual exploitation in any form, and we pray that those entangled in its destructive net will find freedom in Christ (1 Corinthians 6:17-20).

The Convention values online community and will continue to leverage several social media platforms for this purpose. We invite our family of churches, missions partners, Ministry Partners, and individuals to stay connected by following @scbaptist on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube or by subscribing to our email list.
