Kershaw Chainsaw Unit Serves after Local Storm

The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:10 “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”  The Kershaw Baptist Association Disaster Relief team did that on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

On Wednesday, May 12, a rainstorm with high winds blew down a huge tree limb on the house of a young lady who is a believer in Jesus.  She was at work when it happened and came home to an unexpected mess.  She was afraid the tree limb had damaged the structure of her home.

The Disaster Relief team removed limbs off the roof, the air conditioner, and the back deck. Next they cut up the huge tree limb and placed a tarp around the damaged room and roof.

The team gave God the praise, honor, and glory for allowing them the opportunity to be a blessing to the young lady.
