In Columbia, our state lawmakers have worked on legislation, H. 5399, that would protect life in the womb from the moment of conception with the only exception being the life of the mother. What many people believed to be impossible is now moving forward.

What happens now?

The House will go into session Tuesday, August 30th, at 1:00 PM. Our legislators are under tremendous pressure by abortion advocates to stop the bill and by some
who would have them compromise on the strength of this bill.

We are approaching the eleventh hour, we must not grow weary in doing good. We are asking any who are able to meet for a prayer rally this coming Monday,
August 29th at 4:00 PM at the State House. We will meet at the State House 2nd floor lobby.

Also, please remember that the Senate will come back into session September 6th
and we all need to be ready to contact our senators to encourage them to support
H.5399.
