Cathleen’s life was once filled with anger, bitterness, and self-loathing.

Though she considered herself “religious,” she felt dead inside. It wasn’t until she met Scott, who shared the message of Christ with her, that her life began to change for the better.

“I struggled with anger, bitterness and self-loathing! Scott shared Christ with me, helped me connect with a small group, and connected me with church,” Cathleen said, reflecting on her journey.

Finding Community

Through Scott’s guidance and support, Cathleen found a community within the church that helped her grow in her faith. And as a result, her entire family has become Christ followers.

“Now, my family, mother, and mother-in-law are Christ followers, my husband is an Elder and I am the Director of the Prayer Ministry at our church,” Cathleen shared, proud of the transformation that had taken place in her life.

Cathleen’s story is a powerful example of the impact that one person can have on another’s life. Scott’s willingness to share his faith and guide Cathleen towards a community of believers not only changed her life but had a ripple effect that impacted her entire family.
