The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to serving and equipping parents, youth workers, educators, and others involved in youth ministry. Founded in 1989 by Dr. Walt Mueller, the CPYU seeks to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the youth culture and offer practical resources and guidance to those working with young people. Through their research, publications, and training events, the CPYU strives to help adults understand and effectively engage with the youth in their lives.
