Ken Owens serves as the Team Leader for the Send Team, helping churches mobilize mission workers in an Acts 1:8 strategy. He is passionate about reaching the nations locally and globally with the Gospel and developing pipelines and pathways to send and support mission workers. Ken has served SCBaptists for 32 years, serving as Baptist Collegiate Minister in Greenville, State Associate Collegiate Ministry Director, and then as the State Collegiate Ministry Director for 18 years. For the past seven years, he has served as the Send Team Leader. Ken is a Clemson University alumnus and received a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a youth minister, pastor, interim pastor, collegiate minister, and mission team leader. Ken is married to Maria, and they have one son.
