As Director of Student Ministry, Steve Spence serves youth pastors and ministries of South Carolina through intentional networks, equipping, and events. Prior to his role at the Convention, he has served in the local church as a youth pastor for over 30 years in small, medium, and extra-large churches in the Southern Baptist Convention. Steve has a Bachelor of Science from Carson-Newman College, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Steve is married to Shelley, and they have two daughters.
