As Regional Specialist, Ronny Byrd encourages pastors in the Grand Strand Region, helping pastors and churches follow the Great Commandment and advance the Great Commission together. He served SCBaptist part time through church planting and church health, laying the foundation for the NextStep process in church revitalization. He is a graduate of Furman University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served churches in Texas and South Carolina in various roles, including planting both Beach Church and Palmetto Shores Church in Myrtle Beach. He is married to Gail, and they have two children.
