Kathy Miles serves as Director of Preschool and Children’s Ministry for the South Carolina Baptist Convention. She equips leaders and churches with resources, training, and support to disciple children, strengthen families, and advance the Gospel to the next generation. In the role since 2015, Kathy is passionate about raising a generation of Christ-followers as she partners with pastors, volunteers, and families to create safe, Christ-centered environments where children can grow in faith and experience God’s love. Kathy brings extensive local church and community ministry experience as Director of Children’s and Weekday Ministries, Lead Teacher, Special Education Teacher, After School Program Director, and State Evaluator. She holds a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina and other leadership credentials. Married to Jim, they have five children.
