Jon Jamison serves as the Team Leader for the Serve Team. This team exists to help churches engage their communities in a variety of ways, including Disaster Relief, Heart4Schools, Foster Ministry, Conversational English Classes, Prison Ministries and more. Jon began his work with the Convention in 2017. Prior to coming to South Carolina, Jon and his wife Mindy served as missionaries with the North American Mission Board, where they were Directors of the Friendship Baptist Center, an inner city ministry in Des Moines, Iowa. They served in that role for 18 years. Jon is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon and Mindy have one daughter.
