Janet Clonts serves as Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer. In addition, she works alongside six standing committees and manages the nominations process for standing committees, the Executive Board, and ministry partners. Her duties include orientation materials, the Book of Reports, annual meeting minutes, and the SCBaptist Annual. For nearly 30 years, Janet has served SCBaptist in areas of evangelism, discipleship, public policy, revitalization, and the executive office. In addition, Janet served in various capacities through a Vision Trip to Southern Africa, leading workshops for educators, leading prayer groups, and serving with Disaster Relief. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina in Journalism. She is active in her church, where she has served in various capacities as a children’s ministry volunteer, a choir and handbell member, a prayer leader, and a mission team participant.
