Janet Altman serves as the Worship & Music Ministry Assistant, allowing her to assist worship leaders and staff in their worship ministries with their local church and community. Janet also serves as a liaison to church ministry assistants, allowing her to be a resource for ministry assistants across the state. She has served the Convention since 2001. Janet holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of South Carolina. Prior to her role here, she was a middle school choral director in several public schools and a children and youth choir director in local churches. She is married to Howard, and they have four children.
