Bobby Howard serves as the Director for Adult Discipleship and Special Needs Ministry. In this role, he assists churches in developing and strengthening disciple-making strategies primarily in groups ministry and in special needs ministry that is based on a culture of inclusivity and accessibility. He has served the Convention since 2016 in various roles, including the Associate Director for Adult Discipleship and Director of Generations Group and Adult Discipleship. Bobby earned a Master of Divinity with advanced studies in biblical languages, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served churches in various roles including student pastor, worship pastor, and education pastor. He also served as Associate Professor of Christian Studies and Student Ministry at Charleston Southern University. He is married to Kim, and they have two daughters.
