Ben “K9” Reed

Ben “K9” Reed serves as the Facilities Director at Camp McCall, maintaining 37 buildings and managing hundreds of church volunteers. His work minimizes obstacles and distractions for campers and guests so that all parts of camp run smoothly and efficiently to accomplish our mission and vision. K9 began serving at Camp McCall as a summer staffer in 2005. He returned in 2006 as the high ropes director and in 2008 as canteen/store director. In February of 2023, K9 was hired as the full-time Facilities Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Human Resources from Anderson University and an Electrical Wiring certificate from Tri-County Technical College. He is a Certified Bicycle Technician and a Water Treatment Operator. He is currently studying for EPA certification. K9 and his wife, Charity, have twin boys.
