Jerry and Meg Brown

Feature Date:

“Unless God has called you to serve him in the States, He is calling you to serve him overseas.”  Following this challenge, Jerry and Meg felt a definite call to international service. After a few valuable years of preparation in 1987 they arrived to where God led and is continuing to lead them.  Today their burden is for those who live in the desert lands of Northern African. Millions of these dear people need to hear the Gospel through access to God’s Word in their languages and incarnational witness. Is living among them easy? Not really, but it is so worth it.

Prayer Requests

  1. Ask God to call hearty, healthy families, and singles to live and serve among the desert peoples of Northern Africa.  Pray for believers who will embrace a basic, rural, hot, humid, cook from scratch, home school, live like the local’s lifestyle.
  2. Ask God to call out families who are willing to live among and minister to needy refugees in congested, urban settings.  Pray for folks who want to care for those in trauma.
  3. Ask God to call out young men and women, as well as experienced believers who have raised their families, who are willing to serve in an itinerant manner, going in and out of locations that have experienced much conflict.
