Georgians of Russia
Over 150,000 Georgians live in Russia. They share their culture, especially their food, in the restaurants and grocery stores they own throughout Russia. Most Georgians in Russia identify as non-religious, and few know or have heard the gospel of Jesus. There is now a resurgence among local Orthodox Georgians to bring back the old religious ways after years of living under communism and atheism. But Georgians of Russia don’t know that their religious traditions cannot save them;
only faith in Jesus can.
Pray for the Georgians of Russia to hunger for relationship with the one true God instead of embracing empty religious rituals.
