• For each student to experience God’s peace as they walk into a new classroom.
• For students to thrive academicaly, socially, and emotionally.
• For students who need extra help to be identified and to receive appropriate support.
• For students to develop healthy relationships with teachers and with their peers.
• For teachers as they are learning students’ names, personalities, and needs. Ask that God help the teachers to see each student through His eyes.
• For strength and stamina for teachers and for joy in their work.
• For teachers to have insight, patience, and wisdom in planning lessons, establishing rules and routines, and managing classrooms.
• For good, respectful behavior of students in classrooms.
• For God’s hand of protection over the school building and all who attend and work there.
• For the administration as they lead and make difficult decisions.
• For protection over bus drivers and the students in their care each day.
• For students and teachers who are beginning their first year at a new school. Pray they will feel welcomed and loved in a new place.
• For opportunities to share the love of Jesus as we develop relationships with students and staff and act as the “hand and feet” of Jesus.
