They want to live good lives, but their circumstances are often challenging. The Balkan Romani live at a high risk of poverty. Around 35% of their households earn the equivalent of less than $65 USD per month. The Balkan Romani often suffer from discrimination, and they don’t have many opportunities for good jobs. They speak Baltic Romani and aren’t a part of any organized religion. The social divide and language barrier make it difficult for Latvian believers to reach this people group with the good news of abundant life in Jesus Christ.
