Armenians of Italy
For centuries, Armenians in Italy have preserved their culture, language, and religion, with family central to their heritage. Most Armenians call themselves Christian, and the Armenian Church is one of the oldest churches in the world. However, behind this religious identity lies a heart-wrenching spiritual reality that
describes many in this people group: “They do not know Jesus at all,” confided one Armenian believer. Very few have heard and received the good news of Jesus Christ, and no one is currently engaging them with the gospel. Unless something changes, many Armenians of Italy will remain far from God for eternity.
