A recent severe storm in Cherokee County, SC, which is the Gaffney area, caused significant tree damage. SC Baptist Disaster Relief is collaborating with the Broad River Baptist Association to provide assistance to homeowners. We have received approximately 50 job requests from Cherokee County Emergency Management.

Chainsaw Unit Leaders are asked to sign up to participate on a day of your choosing over the next two weeks. No overnight lodging is provided, so units will commute for the day they are signed up to work.

An online form is available for Unit Leaders to sign up their unit to serve. After filling out the form, Unit Leaders will be contacted by a member of the Incident Command team to confirm their participation and provide details. Unit Leaders, click HERE for the form.

Please pray for teams to respond and that God will be glorified through their efforts.
