Regional Positions Across South Carolina

The South Carolina Baptist Convention is seeking several Next Generation Evangelism Strategists to serve in part-time regional roles across the state. These positions will help catalyze gospel-centered evangelism among the next generation by equipping and mobilizing student ministry leaders in local churches.

The Next Generation Evangelism Strategist serves as a regional catalyst who brings together student ministry leaders to collaborate around practical evangelism strategies including events and training. This role helps churches reach students with the gospel, encourages cooperative evangelistic efforts, and strengthens pathways for students who respond to Christ. The strategist works closely with the SCBaptist Share (Evangelism) Team to support churches in engaging middle school and high school students with the gospel.

Responsibilities

The Next Generation Evangelism Strategist will recruit and lead regional cohorts of student pastors focused on learning and implementing practical evangelism strategies. The strategist will assist churches in hosting gospel-centered student events such as One Nights connected to local church ministry and help develop clear follow-up pathways for students who respond to the gospel.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong Christian character, a passion for sharing the gospel, and experience in student ministry. Candidates should have the ability to work collaboratively with pastors and student ministry leaders, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and be actively involved in a Southern Baptist church. Candidates must affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and support Southern Baptist cooperative ministry.

Position Details

• Status: Part-time (approximately 10 hours per week for 48 weeks per year)
• Locations: Multiple regional positions across South Carolina
• Supervisor: SCBaptist Share (Evangelism) Team Leader

Some evening, weekend, and regional travel may be required.
