Sometimes our best plans are interrupted by unexpected and unavoidable circumstances. Thankfully, God told us His plans and purposes cannot be derailed.

Our field team partners are unable to travel to the US due to the COVID-19 virus. And, the presumed number of Coronavirus cases in South Carolina has now risen to six with multiple others being monitored.

We believe in the sovereignty and grace of our Lord and we want to be led by faith and not fear. However, we also want to be wise and maintain caution as we respond to this rapidly spreading virus.

After much prayer and conversation, it is with great disappointment we have to inform you the Intersect Conference scheduled for March 12-14 is cancelled.

The takeaways for Intersect included strengthening core task partnership between field personnel and stateside partners and, collaborating on ways to use diaspora work as a springboard for homeland engagement among NAME peoples.

It would be very difficult to have these discussions with only half of the partnership in attendance. I hope you understand our rational for cancellation.

Thank you for the commitment you made to attend Intersect and the work you are already doing among dispersed and displaced peoples. We had hoped to identify gaps and share action points during this time together.

We will not lose heart but press on with these goals and ask for His guidance in proceeding with possibly a rescheduled event.

If you had previously paid the online registration fee, your registration fee will be refunded to the card that you submitted with your registration. For questions specifically related to registration fee refund, please contact
