RAISING UP THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHURCH LEADERS

Generation Timothy is an all-hands-on-deck approach to building pastor pipelines and identifying, mentoring, training, and releasing faithful leaders into ministry.

THE NEED

We have a pastorless problem. Approximately 150 SCBaptist churches (10%) are searching for a pastor each year. The same statistic is true across the Southeast in the SBC.

If every cooperating SCBaptist church raised up and released just one pastor in the next two years, SCBaptists could solve the pastorless problem in the entire Southeast.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Right now, these men are in your student ministries, your small groups, your deacon bodies, and your ministry teams.

State Convention leaders, associational missionaries, local pastors, and all SCBaptists have a role to play. And we believe that as we set our sights on the office of pastor, other future church leaders will rise to their callings as well.
