Toronto Send Relief Tour and Vision Trip
The project will help leaders experience a ministry model strengthening communities and impacting lostness in the Greater Toronto area. Participants will meet and learn about some of the ways the IMB, NAMB and convention partners are collaborating to impact lostness in one of North America’s most diverse cities.
Toronto is Canada’s largest city and a world leader in business, finance, technology, entertainment, and culture. Its large population of immigrants from all over the globe has also made Toronto one of the most multicultural cities in the world.
The city of Hamilton, where the Send Relief Ministry Centre is located, is unique for its distinctive urban feel and vibrant arts and culture. Ideally located in the heart of the country’s most popular travel destinations, Hamilton lies halfway between Toronto and Niagara Falls, less than an hour from each.
Hamilton is not without its challenges. The city faces severe housing affordability and food insecurity issues, and 1 in 4 children lives under the poverty line. There are over 200 different languages spoken within the city limits, and it is not uncommon for 30-40 different languages to be spoken at local public schools. In Hamilton, Arabic is now the most common language spoken at home after English.
What will you do?

Whether you’re engaging in compassion ministry projects, supporting local organizations, or working alongside local churches, your service will leave a lasting impact on the community.
