Gen Send – San Diego
Description: GenSend Summer San Diego offers students an opportunity to join God’s great story in San Diego! It is an 8 week exploration of what it means to live intentionally in community while sharing the gospel in San Diego.
San Diego is the 8th largest city in the US, offering urban convenience without the sprawl. It’s surrounded by miles of Pacific Ocean beaches, mountains, and a temperate year round climate. The population of SD County has ballooned to 3.5 million, with another 2 million right on the Mexican Border in Tijuana. While the city is spectacular, there is a tremendous need for the Gospel of Jesus.
We want to lead you through a series of Gospel activities and disciplines that have the potential to influence your life in a missional direction. In fact, much of your time as a GenSEND student will be directly impacted by the effort, intensity, passion, time, and prayer you put into your training and preparation. What you learn in this Gospel training offers you a path towards being on mission and seeing Jesus use Your life for His Mission, so don’t miss out!
