Ministers’ Wives Retreat Weekend

A little info to know:

Hotel: Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort 10000 Beach Club Drive Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. (lodging is covered).

Hotel Check-in: check-in at the hotel begins at 4:00pm. Once you arrive at the hotel, please go to guest services to check-in.

Booth check-in: After you have checked into your room, you will come check-in at our booth. Our booth will be somewhere in the lobby and we will have two large banners beside our table. We should be easy to see, but if for some reason you cannot find us, please ask guest services where to locate us. At our booth check-in, you will receive a badge to write your name on, a sticker for your badge to determine your cohort group, and a detailed schedule to include locations of our events. We will also have a printed sheet to sign-up for open coaching sessions (or you can scroll below and sign-up before they are full!)

Dress code: We’re keeping it casual- jeans, t-shirts, and pj’s (you know, because who really likes pants?)

Schedule: Please see right side of page. You will have a general schedule printed on the back of your name badge and I will have a detailed schedule with locations printed out for you to grab at check-in.

Meals covered by the SCBC: 
Breakfast: We will have breakfast snacks for you Saturday and Sunday morning. These snacks will be located in a gift basket you will pick-up sometime on Friday.
Lunch: We will pay for your lunch on Saturday. You will go to lunch with your cohort group and your facilitator will pay for your lunch. If you have a coaching session during lunch time, you can eat at the restaurant in the hotel and charge the meal to your room to be covered by the SCBC.
Dinner: We will pay for your dinner on Saturday. You will go to dinner with your cohort group and your facilitator will pay for your dinner. If you have a coaching session during dinner time, you can eat at the restaurant in the hotel and charge the meal to your room to be covered by the SCBC.

Coaching Sessions
This year, we are offering coaching sessions with Jenny Provin and Joy Canupp (our speakers!). We encourage each of you to sign-up for a slot (while they are available), even if you don’t know what exactly you will talk about. We truly believe that these coaching sessions will be a way for the Lord to reveal something to you either about yourself or about Him.

You listen. You minister. You give. And, then you give some more. You are amazing. So, when is the last time you have had a safe space to just talk about yourself? A time to process and reflect and celebrate without having to carefully compose your words? We all need it from time to time and we’d love to provide that safe and encouraging space for you at the retreat.

  • Session I (location- Palisades GH) (doors open 6pm) - 6:30pm-7:45pm
  • Cohorts (location- designated by facilitator) - 8:00pm-8:50pm
  • Cookies and Milk (location- within your cohort) - 8:45pm-9:15pm

    Saturday, Jan 7th

  • Session II (location- Palisades GH) (doors open 8:45am) - 9:00am-10am
  • Game (location- Palisades GH) - 10:15am-10:25am
  • Session III (location- Palisades GH) - 10:25am-11:15am
  • Cohorts (location- designated by facilitator) - 11:15am-12:00pm
  • Lunch with cohort **If you have a coaching session during lunch time, you can eat at the restaurant in the hotel and charge the meal to your room to be covered by the SCBC.** - 12:15pm-2:00pm
  • Free Time - 2:00pm-5:00pm
  • Dinner with cohort **If you have a coaching session during dinner time, you can eat at the restaurant in the hotel and charge the meal to your room to be covered by the SCBC.** - 5:00pm-6:30pm
  • Session IV (location- Palisades GH) (doors open 6:45pm) - 7:00pm-8:00pm
  • Cohorts (location- designated by facilitator) - 8:00pm-9:00pm

    Sunday, Jan 8th

  • Check-out of hotel - 10:00am-11:00am
  • Worship and cohorts on beach - 11:00am-12:00pm
  • Dismissal - 12:00pm
