Located in one of the most diverse communities in North America, the Atlanta Ministry Center provides space for physical and spiritual healing to individuals and families who have survived poverty, homelessness, and war-torn countries.
During your time with Send Relief, you will be introduced to their specific context and witness how the principles of ministry can seamlessly transition into your local community. Send Relief invites open conversations about what strategies have proven effective, what hasn’t worked, and why. We also plan to explore your short-term and long-term goals, whether you’ve meticulously planned the next five years or just the next five minutes. Send Relief aims to assist, brainstorm, and pray alongside you as you consider your next steps all while experiencing the ongoing work happening in Atlanta.
Housing and meals are provided in Atlanta by Send Relief. A deposit pays for registration, and you can pay for transportation to and from Atlanta if you choose to ride with the group. The team will meet at the SCBC Office in Columbia and travel to Atlanta and back.
