Both Lowe’s and Home Depot are offering rebate programs to help customers support the work of Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) nationwide. Customers (individuals and churches) can register their credit or debit card with the companies, and a percentage of each purchase made with that card at Home Depot or Lowe’s throughout the year is given to SBDR.
The Home Depot program has been in place for several years, and last year alone SBDR received $349,500.00 in rebates from the company. The Lowe’s program is new this year. The donated funds of both programs are used by state conventions in need of help with Disaster Relief operational readiness or with disaster responses in their state.
