Pray for our Nation
Please pray for our state and our nation related to current events of injustice and violence. “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21
Our colleagues in Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Disaster Relief wrote on Saturday, May 30:
After participating in a MN VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster) riot coordination call, we have put our Disaster Relief volunteers on ALERT to respond to the cleanup efforts in Minneapolis/St. Paul. We are thankful to see this morning the residents of these cities already cleaning up the damaged areas.
We have also had communication with our DR Chaplain leaders that may be embedded with the law enforcement officials. Please pray for us as leaders to make wise decisions in view of this dangerous situation and in the days ahead.
