Worship & Music Bad Weather Policy
General Information
Nominations:
- Nominations must be made by music directors, children's music leaders, and/or pastors for participation in these groups by October 14, 2011.
- We will notify them of their nomination and send them a registration form. Once we receive their registration form they will be registered for the event. Registration forms are due by November 21, 2011.
Qualifications:
- Honors Chorus: Students in grades 5-6
- YouthSingers: Students in grades 7-8
- Must be active in SC Baptist Convention Churches and their music ministry.
- Participants must be recommended by their music director or pastor to participate.
- Must exemplify excellent singing skills.
Participants MUST:
- Send in Registration Form by November 21, 2011.
- Send Lodging form & Deposits to:
Worship & Music Office, 190 Stoneridge Drive,Columbia, SC 29210 by December 5, 2011.
- Provide your own transportation to and from White Oak Conference Center.
- Learn music before attending.
- Participate in all events.
- Exemplify Christ-like behavior during all events.
- Notify Worship & Music Office immediately of any changes concerning your participation.
Chaperones:
- All chaperones must be 21 years or older.
- One chaperone must be provided for each 1-7 students of the same gender.
- At least one chaperone is required from each church regarless of the number of students attending.
- Worship & Music Office CANNOT arrange for chaperones.
CONCERT ATTIRE
Saturday evening attire will be the Event T-Shirt (provided when you arrive) with jeans and tennis shoes (no flip-flops or rainbows). If the weather is cold, a long sleeve or turtleneck shirt is acceptable under the t-shirt.

1. Print off the Honors Chorus Registration Form or the YouthSingers Registration Form.
2. Complete the form.
3. Mail the completed form to Worship & Music Office, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210

Lodging
All Lodging forms are due by December 5, 2011.
1. Print off the Lodging form: Honor Chorus/YouthSingers Lodging.
2. Complete the form.
3. Fax form to 803.799.1044 - or -
4. Make the check for the deposit to: SC Baptist Convention.
5. Mail the completed form and check to Worship & Music Office, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
