Drummer
In the Pocket
Mark Powers
Worship & Music Director

Drummers are best when they "play in the pocket," the place in the beat that neither rushes or lags - relaxed, yet vibrant.  Ephesians 4 calls me as leader to use my spiritual gift of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher to train Christians to work within the church, until we are all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful.  If my Worship Team is not living together in the pocket as Ephesians 4 directs, will we play in the pocket?

Evaluate your team and take responsibility for their living and their playing.  Set the tempo!
