Children's Music Mini-Camp
July 21-23, 2008
White Oak Conference Center
Make plans now for the younger children in your choir ministry to participate in this camp filled with enriching spiritual and musical activities to celebrate the abundant life found in Jesus Christ.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Qualifications
*Open to children completing grades 1 & 2 in the 2007-2008 school year.
*Children should be actively engaged in the music program of their church and are expected to be well behaved, cooperative, and eager to learn.
Schedule
Camp begins with registration on Monday and concludes a Celebration Concert on Wednesday at 11:15 am.
Registration
*Forms must be completed in full.
*A $60 deposit for each child and chaperone must accompany registrations.
*Total fees may be sent with registration.
Faculty
The faculty will include Ministers of Music, Music Directors, and Children’s Choir leaders from across the state. All are talented musicians and dedicated church leaders who are well qualified to minister to the musical, spiritual, and emotional needs of children.
Chaperones
Churches MUST provide competent and mature chaperones. Send one male for every 1-3 boys and one female for every 1-3 girls. Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. We cannot register any campers without chaperones being secured and listed on the Registration Form.
Worship
Worship is an important part of Music Camp. Each day there will be a Worship time.
Choir
All campers will sing in the camp choir. Music is carefully selected and will be appropriate to the musical abilities of 1st and 2nd graders.

THINGS TO BRING & REMEMBER
Things to Bring:
* A great spirit of cooperation
* Bible
* Clothes for hot weather (NO spaghetti strap tops, halters or tube tops)
* One-piece bathing suit & sandals/flip-flops
* Towel for use after swimming
* Dirty clothes bag
* Umbrella or raincoat
* A small amount of spending money for canteen and souveniers from the Gift Shop
* Nice pair of denim shorts to be worn with your camp T-shirt at the Friday concert
Things NOT to bring:
* Bed linens, towels, & washcloths (White Oak provides them)
* Cell phones
* Radios, cassette/CD/DVD players
* TVs
* Roller blades or scooters
* Water guns
* Video games.
Things to Remember:
* Be polite and respectful to everyone.
* Do not bring spaghetti strap tops, halters or tube tops.
* Wear shoes and walk everywhere you go.
* Attend everything on your schedule.
* Always be on time.
* Stay with your chaperone at all times except during choir/activities.
* Do not break lines or save seats at meals.
* Take care of everything at White Oak.
* Do not jump on the beds.
* Place your trash in the proper containers.
* Be quiet after "Lights Out" times.

2. Print off Children's Mini-Camp Lodging Form. Fill out form for your group. Send Deposits with the form to:
