The Worship Summit is 24 hours of uplifting inspiration and leadership training with SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE...
Music Ministers: Training for LifeWay Worship Project, the new hymnal to be released summer 2008. Orientation to comprehensive Worship Project web resources releasing this Fall.
Worship Leaders: Unveiling of Praise & Worship resources accessible on the web in the brand new Lifeway worship project. Plus, introduction to tons of web based resources coming this Fall.
Children’s Choir Leaders: Crucial instruction at every level to become your very best for the sake of our kids.
Choir Directors: Both Youth Choir and Adult Choir directors get practical help for your specific leadership needs.
Praise Band members: Instruction to master your instrument and play within your band.
Pianists, Organists, and Keyboardists: From traditional to cutting edge, you will learn techniques and resources to help you continue as the foundation of our music ministries.
Music Leading 101: Customized teaching from Mark Powers (State Worship & Music Director) in song leading, how to teach singing, basic conducting, and other areas in which you need help.
Handbell Choirs: Bell choirs and individual bell players are invited to join this track which will include technique development, reading new music, and spiritual foundations for teamwork within your choir.
Tech Track: Sound, video, lighting, and presentation software techies are invited to hone their craft with those who are doing it well in their own churches. (Bring what’s working for you, too.)
...culminating in a "face to face" worship experience on Saturday afternoon for all participants.
