Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth."
In Acts 1 verse 8, Jesus shared his vision for reaching the world by mobilizing his Church to reach people near and far. An Acts 1:8 strategy seeks to develop partnerships in all areas as God leads and provides.
When Jesus and his disciples went to Samaria, they were going to a nearby place where people were different culturally. Your Samaria might be right around the corner at the Latino Grocery store, or the International Student ministry on the college campus. You will encounter people from different cultures in your home town and all across North America. You don’t have to travel far to meet them and with a little preparation you can learn how to share Jesus with them. Your Samaria mission field is made up of people who may be near you but are culturally distant.
