Church Sending Team
“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers into His harvest’ ” - Matthew 9:37-38, (HCSB).
Believers who are living out the Great Commission tell others about Jesus.
An estimated three million lost people live in South Carolina. The Evangelism & Missions Team members are ready to educate, equip, and encourage South Carolina Baptists to share the gospel with those living in the harvest fields outside of the church walls through:
- Evangelism—men’s and women’s ministries, personal evangelism, and Evangelist Network
- Collegiate Ministry
- God’s Plan for Sharing
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” - Acts 1:8 (HCSB)
Great Commission Living also moves beyond state lines into a larger world filled with people who need to hear the Good News. Evangelism & Missions Team members can help South Carolina Baptists who are called to missions in-state, across the country, and around the world through key partnership areas at home and abroad.
The Evangelism & Missions Team is ready to serve with resources to help send healthy, growing believers into the harvest field, including:
- Missions Mobilization—from discovery to sending
- Church Planting
- Multi-ethnic Ministries
