Citizenship & Religious Liberty Sunday
Clonts, Janet
These two issues are combined as a focus near the celebration of our nation’s independence. The two are closely related as public Christian citizenship is not possible without religious liberty. In this day of secular tolerance for all pagan religions, Christianity seems to be target for the media and liberal courts. Religious liberty is under attack—only if you’re a Christian. If more Christians do not get involved in the public square, American pastors will be arrested under hate crimes legislation for preaching about the sin of homosexuality. This is happening in Canada and some European countries today.
Faith & Family Impact is a dynamic resource designed to provide individuals biblically grounded information and insight on the issue of Christian Citizenship and Religious Liberty. Each 4-page publication, sized for easy placement in most church bulletins, can be used as a stand-alone informational handout and includes specific prayer points, action steps and the plan of salvation.
