Prayer Opportunities/Dates

National Day of Prayer - May 1, 2008. This will be a time of corporate prayer. Join Christian leaders from across South Carolina as they lead us in lifting up in prayer our nation, government, judiciary, military, churches, families, education, and media. Global Day of Prayer - May 11, 2008. The Greater Columbia Call to Prayer and City Light will sponsor a Global Day of Prayer gathering from 3 – 5 p.m. The prayer gathering is tentatively schedule at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. (Go to www.gdopusa.org for more information.) Join with over 250 million people from all around the world to worship God openly in the name of Christ, to pray for the glory of Christ, and for healing, blessing and transformation of all nations.

Greater Columbia Call to Prayer - Monthly Prayer Gatherings for the remainder of 2008 – Saturdays March 8, April 12, May 10, June 7, July 19, August 9, September 20, October 11, November 8, and December 13. Prayer times are held 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Alumni Building at Columbia International University.

Empowered 2008 - This interdenominational convention will be held June 11-13, 2008, in Columbia, SC. The convention is for everyone who desires to grow in prayer.
