SC Baptists have an opportunity for Hands-On Missions Experience in Lynch, KY September 30-October 5, 2008. This opportunity will also include worship and prayer experiences that will strength each volunteers' faith walk.
Hands-On Missions Experiences include:
- Swappin' Meeting' Festival Free Booths
- Construction
- Giving Free Hair Cuts
- Mobile Food Ministry
- Prayerwalking
- Free Community Hotdog Meal/Manna House
- Cooks for Volunteers' Meals
- Medical Ministry
Worship and prayer experiences will include:
- "God at Work" bus tour - see where God is working in the area
- Worship
- Participatory Prayer Experience
- Teaching on Prayer
- Missionary Testimonies
- Developing an Acts 1:8 Lifestyle
- Experience Living in God's Reality by Faith
Registration fee: $125 includes room at Solomon's Porch, linens and 14 meals (add $10 for registrations after August 18);
Registration fee for volunteers staying motels or camping: $69.00 includes 14 meals (add $10 for registrations after August 18).

An additional need are donations to purchase God's Word Translation on MP3 players to be distributed to youth at the Swappin' Meetin' Festival.
