SC Baptists are invited to participate in a Hands-On Missions Experience in Lynch, KY September 30-October 5, 2008. Volunteers will also participate in worship and prayer experiences that will help develop their faith walk with God.
Appalachian Regional Ministry is an intentional missions effort to meet the spiritual and physical needs of people living in the Appalachian region. South Carolina is in partnership with ARM and sends hundreds of volunteers to Appalachia for ministry each year.
Teams are needed to prayerwalk and scout 14 regions of Nova Scotia during the summer of 2008. This will help to accomplish the dream of starting 54 SBC churches by the year 2020.
Since Hurricane Katrina ravaged the people and landscape of New Orleans and other Gulf Coast areas, a tidal wave of volunteers is needed to help rebuild the historic tourist city and surrounding areas.
