Effective communication is the commodity of the day.  With ever increasing demand for real time data, information, and announcements, the challenge comes in delivering the wealth of information in a way that is easy to use.

The 2008 release of the South Carolina Baptist Convention Website features easy navigability, straight forward links (connectors), and a feature box on each page allowing for up five postings that are of high importance and potentially special interest to the reader.  This new site has been carefully crafted to allow for diversity over the years.

By mid-year (2008) the Communication and Ministry Development Team -  Communication Support Group will introduce the second phase of the new web service by adding an integrated sound/video element into the pages in which a piece relates.  Also by mid-year, churches that have identified who maintains their Website will receive "flash files" for their use in fulfilling their fulfillment of the Great Commission.  And, by the fall the team plans to have online Webcasting (video streaming) for major events - including the annual South Carolina Baptist Convention meeting [15 minute delay].

The Communication and Ministry Development Team is a committed group of men and women who seek to communicate the message of Christ and the work of the partnering churches that make up the South Carolina Baptist Convention to a world that needs to know there is love, hope, and purpose.
