Churches may include their gifts to assist victims on the remittance form provided by the State Convention. The church will need to mark on the remittance form Hurricane Katrina. These gifts will be posted to the church as a designated gift and the funds will be used to assist victims in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Individuals may contribute by making a check payable to the South Carolina Baptist Convention and indicating on the check Hurricane Katrina. These funds will also be used to assist victims in the area of the hurricane.
In-kind donations (materials, supplies):
Churches and individuals may ship in-kind donations directly to multi-agency warehouses in Louisiana and

Children & Baby Kits
As Hurricane Rita is nearing the Texas coast, if those children and baby kits could be sent to the Texas Baptist Men. Please use the updated information to assist Texans.
Child--Toothpaste, toothbrush, bubble bath, shampoo, wash cloth, colors/coloring book, small toy, comb/brush. (Please label children)
Baby--Lotion, shampoo, A diaper, baby nail clippers, sippie cup, pacifier, diaper shirt, handi-wipes, washable squeeze toy and small plastic book. (Please label baby)
Place all supplies should be place in a gallon zip lock bag.
