Ministry is our focus at the South Carolina Baptist Convention. We are about investing our time and resources in the lives of people through missions and evangelism.

The South Carolina Baptist Convention is opposed to gambling and does support our state law enforcement; however, we are not in the business of law enforcement or regulating the law.

The South Carolina Baptist Convention will not be participating in a partnership with SLED to seek out illegal video poker machines.

There will be no telephone hotline or web site designated to receive calls regarding illegal video poker at the state convention building in Columbia. All calls regarding illegal video poker machines should be reported to SLED at 803-896-7400.
