Recovery Seminar to be held Feb. 6-7 in Myrtle Beach

The annual Leading Your Recovery Ministry Seminar will be at Myrtle Beach Community Church, Myrtle Beach, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6-7.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with dinner, followed by a large group meeting and open share groups at 8 p.m. Session I on Saturday will be from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and session II will begin at 1:15 p.m. after lunch. The seminar will conclude Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
The seminar will focus on three different areas—preparing for or beginning a recovery ministry, developing an already established recovery ministry and establishing a recovery ministry for youth.
The main topics covered within these three areas will be:
• Leading your Celebrate Recovery Ministry Team
• Couples leading in Celebrate Recovery
• Role of the pastor in Celebrate Recovery
• Promoting your Celebrate Recovery Ministry
• Growing your ministry through new groups
• Reaching youth through Celebrate Recovery; and,
• Helping youth grow through life hurts and God’s healing.
Registration fees will depend upon when individuals and groups (3 or more) register. The individual rate if received by Jan. 16 is $35, and if received by Jan. 30 is $40. The group registration fee for 3 or more people is $30 per person by Jan. 16 and $35 per person by Jan. 30. Registration will also be available at the door for $45 for individuals and $40 for groups.
